What is Micropigmentation & Permanent Makeup?
Micropigmentation, or better known as Permanent Makeup is a cosmetic procedure used to improve or replace lost pigmentation in the skin. Most often used to enhance eyebrows, eyelashes, eyelids, and lips; it's a great service for people who suffer from conditions that result in unsteady hands such as severe arthritis or poor eyesight such as macular degeneration. It's also great for people who want a more defined or "fuller" look, maybe you don't like having to spend the time applying makeup on a daily basis, you want to neutralize your lips or even out the color. There are so many reasons Permanent Makeup is an awesome choice!
How long does it last? What makes me different from a lot of other technicians is I mainly use Mineral pigments which have a 50% retention in the first month, it's a great way to introduce permanent makeup to a client without overwhelming them, which can definitely happen has the healing process takes place! It also gives us flexibility to adjust color and shape to the client's preference. After touch up in 6-8 weeks I won't generally see you again for 1-3 years for a Color Boost, it varies for every client and their preferences for how defined they want the area to look.
